Fire heavily damages Matt Brewing Company's Bottling Facility
Tragic news from the Matt Brewing company, where a fire yesterday destroyed much of the building used for bottling beer there. Matt makes Matt's, Utica Club, and Saranac beers and contract brews for other labels.

Update, 5/30/08 at 12:30 PM: More news from the Post-Standard. The fire is out; apparently it damaged the can-filling operation but not the bottling area. Hopefully that it good news for the Matt family!
