Fellow beer aficionado Dan sent me this Scientific American article about Charlie Bamforth and his assertion that beer is the reason for civilization. It's pretty tough to argue with Bamforth's logic!
You know organic foods have really arrived when both Wal-Mart and Anheuser-Busch create massive organic product campaigns. A-B is releasing two organic beers... Hopefully they'll taste better than the usual swill that company puts out!!
