Cazenovia's Golden Pheasant restaurant has happy hour specials from 4-7 PM, Monday through Friday. All draft beer and well drinks are 2-for-the-price-of-1, and since they have Guinness (as well as Bass and Ithaca Nut Brown) on draft, it appeals to me. They also put salty munchies out on the bar for your enjoyment. I had only stopped in last night to order dinner for my family, but I know I'll be back occasionally for a couple of pints.
The tenth annual Central New York Brewfest will be held today, February 4 2006, at the New York State fairgrounds near Syracuse. Admission is $25 and features samples and information on dozens of breweries from around New York, the nation, and the world. Two separate sessions are available, one from 1-4 PM and the other from 6-9 PM.
