GORDON. beer from Oskar Blues

Oskar Blues 'Gordon' red IPA"Gordon.", the double "red IPA" from Oskar Blues brewery in Lyons, Colorado, is the latest new find for me. I picked up a four-pack of the silver-and-green cans (yes, cans) for $14.49 (ye gods!) at Galeville Grocery in Liverpool, NY.

The beer is excellent. It's a fully loaded (8.7% ABV) imperial-IPA style beer that's extremely creamy in the body (and head) and that has a smell like you just walked into a room full of freshly-picked hops. If you are a hop head, especially if you like a big creamy IPA, this one will keep you warm for a while!
