CNY Summer Beers

Nobody knows CNY beer like Don Cazentre. His newest column in the Syracuse Post-Standard is about summer brews from local breweries, including Saranac's Belgian White, Middle Ages' XI (11th anniversary beer) and Swallow Wit, High Falls' J.W. Dundee Hefeweizen, Ithaca Beer's Partly Sunny (Belgian-style wit), and Wagner Valley's Champagne Wit. Cazentre describes the latter as "the ultimate spritzy, refreshing summer quencher".

I had a chance to partake of a growler of the Middle Ages XI last night; it's incredibly hoppy and strong (8.5%) for a wheat beer, but I'd expect nothing less from Middle Ages. I also had some incredible ales from McNeill's in Vermont. Many thanks to Don C. (a different Don C.) for the selections!
